CorrectEnglish is a software application created by Vantage Technologies that focuses on helping and correcting grammar mistakes when writing English-based documents. The application itself is very professional - the interface will look very familiar to those who have used a word processor before, and will find that navigation is even simpler that in the newer Office suite of tools.

CorrectEnglish can also be used as a stand-alone word processor, or in conjunction with Microsoft Word and even Outlook, in the form of very functional toolbars. Once you have written a document using CorrectEnglish, the program will not only scan it to see if you have words which are spelled incorrectly, it will also analyze sentences, paragraphs and the structure of the document. The program will then provide plenty of feedback on how to improve the writing of the document. It also provides templates for the most common types of documents, correctly written and structured.

If you find the program hard to use, you have plenty of support and help files from the developers that will get you back on track. There are some minor problems, depending on your system settings, that may cause one headache or two. However, the program has a “try before you buy” license that will help you making the right decision.
